Perhaps in the Buddhist context “cataphaticism” is to be understood in the sense of expressing of the ultimate reality via affirmationis.

    yes, it seems to correspond to Christian mysticism; the bodhisattva descends/comes back via affirmationis to samvrti (the conventional) - thus overcomes the soteriological distinction of the two truths through gnoseological simultaneity; sincerely, mikael.
